Male Rider Injured in Reported Single Vehicle Motorcycle Crash [Updated]

Around 10:15pm Sunday, June 3rd police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Turkey Hill in St. George’s.

It appears that the rider involved – believed to be a 23 year old St. George’s man – was hurt after striking a wall.

He was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries and an update on his medical condition is anticipated in due course.

The motorcycle was also damaged in the incident. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Update: At last check this afternoon the injured 23 year old male motorcyclist had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.

Female Motorcyclist Hurt in Collision With Fire Truck Recovering

At last check this morning (June 4th) the 23 year old female motorcyclist injured in a collision with a fire truck around 3:50pm Sunday, June 3rd on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish – near the junction with East Point Lane – was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital. Inquiries continue and any witnesses that have not yet come forward are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Injured Female Motorcyclist Treated & Discharged From Hospital

At last check this morning (June 4th) the 32 year old female motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car around 8:30am Tuesday, May 29th at the junction of Parsons Road and The Glebe Road in Pembroke had been discharged from the hospital, after initially being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Inquiries Continue: Damage Only Ambulance & Car Collision

Inquiries continue regarding the damage only ambulance and car collision that occurred around 4:40pm Sunday, June 3rd at the junction of Front Street and Court Street in the City of Hamilton. There were no reported injuries.

It now appears that the ambulance had its full emergency equipment (lights and sirens) on at the time. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.


All incidents are under investigation.
