Bullet Recovered

An off duty police officer reported that just after 2:40 p.m. on Sunday 21st February, 2021, he was approached by a member of the public who handed him a live bullet. It is believed that the bullet was found in the Harlem Heights area of Hamilton Parish. On duty officers recovered the bullet, which will be forensically processed. Suspicious Activity Around 9:55 p.m. on Saturday 20-Feb-2021, Police received information that two men wearing all black clothing, were repeatedly seen riding around the area of Harlem Heights Road in Hamilton Parish on a black motorcycle.

Reported Robbery in Paget & Man Arrested for Warrants Plus Bladed Article

Robbery Around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, Wednesday 17th February, 2021, Police responded to a report of a robbery which occurred at the junction of Ord Road and Cherry Hill Park, Paget. Upon arrival, police spoke with the complainant a nineteen-year-old woman who told officers she was riding east on Ord Road, taking her sixteen-year-old friend to school when as they neared the junction with Cherry Hill Park, a white motorcycle with two unknown men approached them.

Reported Single Vehicle Car Crash in Southampton: Driver Sought

Around 12:10am today, Monday January 18th, police officers responded to a reported single vehicle car crash on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Luke’s Pond Road. On arrival, the car said to be involved in the incident was found unoccupied and extensively damaged. Initial inquiries suggest that the vehicle was being driven east and struck a wall along Middle Road, Southampton – temporarily preventing traffic flow in either direction.

Collision Victim Named as Clevonte Lodge-Bean.

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS), can now identify the victim in the most recent fatal road traffic collision as, Clevonte Lodge-Bean.   Mr. Lodge-Bean succumbed to injuries sustained in a two vehicle collision, which occurred on Somerset Road, Sandy’s in the area of Morgan Hill, shortly before 9:30 a.m. yesterday, Sunday 8th November. The investigation into Sunday’s incident continues and anyone with information is asked to contact, PC Ward on 247-1504 - direct line or, 717-0540 – mobile. A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to assist Mr. Lodge-Bean’s relatives during this difficult time. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Couple Appear in Court for Covid-19 Breaches

A 35- year-old male and a 38-year-old female this morning appeared in Magistrates’ Court charged with Breach of COVID regulations.  The couple from Maryland in the United States arrived at L.F. Wade International Airport On Sunday 1st November and indicated they were here to attend a wedding. A Port Health nurse outlined the COVD-19 restrictions to them, informed them that they were required to take another COVID-19 test prior to leaving the airport and that they were to remain in quarantine at their hotel until they were informed of their test results by the Health Department.  It was explained to them that the test results would come back between 10 – 24 hours.  Later that day, Health officials conducted an enquiry at the hotel where the couple were staying. It was ascertained that they had left to attend a wedding in St Georges.
