17 Year Old Male Recovering in Stable Condition on a General Ward

At last check this afternoon (January 15th) the 17 year old male hurt in a two motorcycle collision that occurred around 4:30am Monday, January 14th at the junction of Cobbs Hill Road and Ord Road, Paget was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital. Details regarding the collision remain unclear and the appeal continues for witnesses or members of the public with any information to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.



Teenager Hurt in Two Motorcycle Paget Collision Early Monday [Updated]

Around 4:30am today (January 14th) police and fellow first responders attended a reported two motorcycle collision at the junction of Cobbs Hill Road and Ord Road in Paget. Details are limited at this time. However, it appears that one of the motorcycles was being ridden along Cobbs Hill Road while the other motorcycle was being ridden along Ord Road.



Third Man Arrested in Connection With Murder of Ronniko Burchall

The Bermuda Police Service can confirm the arrest of a 23 year old man in connection with the murder of Ronniko Burchall on 29th December, 2018. This arrest marks the third person taken into custody in connection with the enquiry, led by Acting Detective Inspector Jason Smith of the Serious Crime Unit. The investigating team continues to encourage anyone with information regarding this matter to contact them, or provide the information confidentially.



Car Overboard After Saturday Crash in Southampton: Driver Unhurt

Around 5:20pm Saturday, January 5th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle car crash on Middle Road in Southampton. It now appears that the car involved was being driven in the eastbound lane of Middle Road when it struck the roadside wooden fence, went down an embankment and ended up overboard, partially submerged, in the vicinity of Five Star Island.



Ten Motorists Arrested on Suspicion of Impaired Driving

A total of 10 motorists were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving from Friday night (December 28th 2018) until Tuesday night (January 1st 2019). More than half of those arrested were caught at road sobriety checkpoints. The main objectives of the road sobriety checkpoints are to help make the roads safer and ultimately save lives.
